Wesley G. Bush, Former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Northrop Grumman Corporation

Bush is the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Northrop Grumman Corporation, a global aerospace and defense technology company. Bush served as Northrop Grumman’s Chairman from 2011 to July 2019, Director from 2009 to July 2019, Chief Executive Officer from 2010 to 2018, President from 2006 to 2017, and prior to 2010, as the company’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer.

Prior to the acquisition of TRW by Northrop Grumman in 2002, Bush had served as President and Chief Executive Officer for TRW’s UK-based global Aeronautical Systems. He joined TRW in 1987 and prior to joining TRW, he held engineering positions with both the Aerospace Corporation and Comsat Labs. Bush serves on the boards of several non-profit organizations including Conservation International, the Inova Health System, the MIT Corporation, and the Darden School Foundation.  He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering.

Bush brings significant leadership experience, including as a public company Chief Executive Officer, with a strong background in the industrials sector and in engineering. Bush is also a proven operator as a former Chief Operating Officer and is also experienced in finance and accounting, environmental and safety issues, governance, governmental and stakeholder relations, human resources, information technology, strategic planning and transportation.

Bush serves on the Cisco Systems, Inc. Board of Directors (since May 2019) and the General Motors Board of Directors (since February 2019). Bush served on the DowDuPont Materials Advisory Committee from August 2018 to April 2019.
